Together with you, the soldiers,
I go through a battle.
Together with you, my dear fellow fighters,
I get impatient.
Together with you warriors,
I get hurt.
Together with you, my dear combatants,
I die.
Together with you, the lonely one,
I freeze on cold streets in
an unknown country.
Together with you, my brother, and my sister,
in my hometown with my family,
I feel alone.
Together with you, the homeless,
I get jealous,
when I see a cute little boy
who sleeps so well
by his father’s heart.
Together with you, men, and women,
I cry in my loneliness.
Together with you, the lover,
in your old and broken shoes,
when you go to meet your loved one
I’m a little ashamed.
Together with you, the abandoned child,
when you see a cute face
or a beautiful smile,
I become full of joy.
Together with you, the poor,
I stay hungry all day
and have nightmares all night.
Together with you, the mass,
I scream why.
With you, people,
I am who I am.
Without you, people,
I´m nothing.
