THE ISRAEL-PALESTINE CONFLICT – ANALYSIS (2)

Just as Prime Minister Netanyahu mentioned in his speech at the UN yesterday, Hamas had in principle had self-rule and functioned as an independent state in Gaza since 2007. Hamas even received billions in financial aid from Israel during those 15 years in the hope of showing good will. Hamas completely blew this chance. Instead of taking that opportunity and showing the world that they want to live a peaceful life side by side with Israel and recognize Israel as a state, they chose to take advantage of every opportunity and attack Israel with both their suicide bombers and their Iranian-made missiles. This resulted in 5 wars between Hamas and Israel since 2007 with enormous devastation for Gazans.

The Palestinians were given several chances to accept a two-state solution in the past, but they refused. For example, under the Ehud Olmert administration, they were given a historic chance to accept a two-state solution, but the PLO backed down and the chance was lost. The Palestinians’ ultimate goal is to reclaim entire territories from Israel. And this is a completely unrealistic goal and an illusion that has cost them dearly. As long as Israel and the United States operate side by side as allies and this current world order prevails, the Palestinian desire to get rid of Israel will remain nothing more than a disgusting and bloody endeavor.

This ability to destroy Israel may happen in the future if the following scenario becomes a reality:

– Russia becomes so cornered by Europe and the US that it ends up attacking Ukraine and the West, initially, with precision nuclear bombs that have limited destructive capabilities.

– That Europe and NATO become involved in a full-scale war with Russia.

– That China annexes Taiwan by force that could result in hundreds of thousands/millions of deaths.

– That the US chooses to attack China. There will be a major war between the two superpowers which, in itself, the use of precision nuclear bombs, initially, is entirely likely from both sides.

If these wars are not limited and do not end in a few weeks or at most a few months, we will end up in a very devastating world war that will weaken the great powers and pave the way for the countries around Israel to destroy the state of Israel and expel the remaining Israelis out into the world again.

This above scenario is hypothetically possible but in reality, very far-fetched. Until then, the Palestinians, who dream of getting their territories back from Israel, are deceiving themselves with such an illusion and they will pay a very high price, in the form of human suffering and a hellish life on earth. With this mindset that Hamas, for example, possesses, they really have no respect for human life. They promise eternal life in paradise with 70 virgins for those who choose martyrdom by murdering innocent individuals as they did in the October 7 massacre. They urge their people to have as many children as possible, such as increasing the population to about 2 million in a small area like the Gaza Strip to later use them as martyrs or as human shields in times of war, which Hamas is currently doing in this war with Israel.

Israel is afraid of giving the evil the opportunity to gain its own territories and form an independent state. It is afraid that they will become so strong that they will attack Israel with violence in the future. It does not want to contribute to a cancerous tumor like Hamas taking hold under its nose through a two-state solution.

I still think Israel should take this risk even though it is very likely that the future Palestinian state will start a war against Israel, even several wars until they calm down. However, Israel can take this risk, and it can handle it.

Israel historically managed to remove the threat from Arab countries and even fought major wars against powerful Egypt and Jordan. It managed, over time, even to get them on its side and have a normal diplomatic relationship with them. The same is possible with the future Palestinian state after a time of unrest and even war. Israel is so strong and together with its powerful friends in the world, Israel and the people of Israel can take this risk and allow a Palestinian state to be formed.
